From March 2020 to July 2023, a total of 35 survey waves were conducted as part of the ACPP, each involving approximately 1,500 respondents in Austria. The resulting longitudinal study provides a comprehensive empirical foundation for analyzing key societal, political, and psychological developments during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The ACPP surveys cover a wide range of topics – from attitudes toward political measures and individual behavior to risk perception, institutional trust, and the social consequences of the crisis. The dataset is therefore suitable for diverse analyses in research, teaching, and policy consultation.
The data is available in two versions – each in the original German as well as in English translation: a detailed scientific use file for research purposes (SUF) and a freely accessible open access version (OA):
- Scientific Use File (SUF): doi.org/10.11587/28KQNS
- Open Access (OA): doi.org/10.11587/P5YJ0O
An interactive dashboard developed as part of the WoCo project also enables exploratory analysis of key dynamics and relationships:
